Director (Programme)

This position is an important leadership position in MJF to work closely with relevant Programme team and Executive Director to lead Human Rights & Governance programming, facilitate the programme strategic transformation into a more diverse, relevant and effective means of ensuring human rights and good governance for the target population that MJF works with. It requires high-impact communications capacity, strong facilitation skills, and excellent team building competencies. It also demands an ability to design and work in collaborative processes with multiple stakeholders to bring about necessary changes in programme portfolios.
What MJF is looking for?

MJF is looking for a Director (Programme) who will be responsible for over sight of MJF programmes, facilitate joint MJF’s programme decision-making, accountability, alignment, and risk management. She/he must have strong familiarity with present human rights issues and concerns and capacity to understand and navigate complex governance system and institutions, identify linkages, gaps, and opportunities within public institutions plus be well versed with the current political operating environment, opportunities and challenges. S/he is expected to act as an advocate and change agent to drive momentum for MJF’s organizational development and future programming.
